Simracing Vibration Isolator Set for Bass Shakers, Buttkickers, HPR, FFB, Dayton

Isolators for 40-series rigs and 2" tubular rigs. Sold in a kit of 6, with mounting hardware for one rig.

Isolating your rig from the building structure and significantly cuts down vibration from bass shakers, FFB, buttkickers, transducers and allows the shakers to perform better.

- this kit helps isolate FFB and shaker vibrations from the floor and building
- by decoupling the rig from the floor, FFB and bass shaker effects become more distinct as they are no longer damped by the building, more energy is concentrated into the rig
- tennis balls are very very good at isolation; drummers use them under drumkits and DJs use them under their turntables. So why not simracers?
- compared to springs, these isolators are very good on hardwood/tiled floors as they won't damage the floor and the rig will be easy to move, similar to moving a small sofa. I move my rig around all the time for cable management, cleaning, modification
- on carpeted floor, the rig will be difficult to move
- each unit will support 100lbs/45kg (tested to 150lbs/68kg but at that point the ball is heavily compressed and damping is therefore compromised)
- fits 40-series. Option includes M8 x 25mm & profile nut
- fit 2" tubular with M10 caster holes. Option includes M10 x 25mm bolt. Bolts into *existing* caster locations. Check your rig!
- if you have a different attachment requirement let me know, if I have the can I will make a shim for no additional cost
- shim is available in black or read. Please ask if you require customization!

The standard kit is for a pack of six units as pictured. Each unit will support 100lbs/45kg. A standard installation two at the front, four at the back.

NOTE: With a tubular rig you are limited to the existing bolt holes.

There are photos showing before and after vibration measurements and one showing the position of the phone which is taped to the floor. The app used was Vibrometer https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vibration-analysis/id817385888

The test was conduction by four bursts of all BST1 at 50% amp volume with 50Hz/45Hz via simhub. The results show a large reduction in vibration transferred to the floor, when the isolators are installed the vibration is just above the "background noise", it's damped very effectively. I tried several other apps and none of them registered anything useful with the isolators installed, I suspect they are filtering "background noise".

While conducting the test, the floor vibrated noticeably through my feet without the isolators, with the isolators it was barely noticeable.

If ordering the 2" tubular variant, first message me the rig model and if possible a photo of the attachment points. They can vary model to model, batch to batch, I will make design adjustments if needed.
